Online Courses

Cherokee County Schools provides an opportunity for students to obtain initial credit or to recover credit for required high school courses.  CCVS also provides courses for students seeking advanced placement, career and technical education, and academic enrichment courses.

For middle school students, CCVS provides a selection of courses for early high school credit.

There are prerequisites to taking online courses.  Prior to a student's first online course, the student must complete an Online Learning Orientation course.  This course demonstrates the level of organization and self-motivation needed for success and outlines expectations for both students and teachers.

High school students interested in taking TCCC or other college-level courses must also take the Accuplacer exam.  A student's scores will determine whether or not he or she can take certain courses.
