ABOUT CTE

 
Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides curriculum to prepare youth and adults for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers (acteonline.org). In Cherokee County Schools, we offer a variety of CTE courses (i.e. Entrepreneurship, Firefighter Technology, Health Science, etc.) to equip students with the 21st century skills needed for a global economy.

Our mission is to maximize academic achievement by engaging middle and high school students in rigorous and relevant learning to prepare for post-secondary education and careers.
