ABOUT CTE
Career and Technical Education (CTE) provides a curriculum to prepare youth and adults for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, high-demand careers (acteonline.org). In Cherokee County Schools, we offer a variety of CTE courses (i.e. Entrepreneurship, Firefighter Technology, Health Science, etc.) to equip students with the 21st-century skills needed for a global economy.
MISSION
Our mission is to maximize academic achievement by engaging middle and high school students in rigorous and relevant learning to prepare for post-secondary education and careers.

2024 - 2025 CTE Local Plan
The CTE Local Plan has been developed per Perkins V – The Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century Act. The Local Plan is a district’s planning document and application for CTE state and federal funding.
