Summer Camp 2025

Students who have completed Pre-K -- 5th Grade

Cherokee County Schools is proud to announce the 33rd year of providing a high-quality Summer Camp program for students and families. This program is a licensed school-age child care center that offers fast-paced and reliable child care services to students within Cherokee County Schools. It is filled with a variety of enriching and recreational activities, such as swimming, games, field trips, arts and crafts, 4-H STEM, and engaging learning themes where children can thrive.

Camp Location: Murphy Elementary

Ages: Students who have completed PreK - 5th grade

Camp Dates: June 9 - July 25, 2025 (closed the week of June 30 - July 4)

Camp Hours: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

Registration:

Pre-registration is required for all participants. Parents/Guardians must complete a registration form and submit it with a non-refundable $25 registration fee to hold a slot. Registration forms are available at the Cherokee County Schools Central Office, 2230 Airport Road, Marble, NC 28905, or via email at [email protected].

Tuition Fees & Payment Plan:

The tuition for the 6-week program is $780 ($130 per week) and can be broken down into 2 payments:

June's payment of $390 is due in full by May 23
July's payment of $390 is due in full by June 27

According to the option agreement above, parents are reserving the entire 6-weeks of child care and agreeing to pay the entire tuition, regardless of the number of days/hours the child attends.

How to Pay the Tuition:

Tuition payments may be made as follows:

by dropping off the payment at the Cherokee County Schools Central Office,
by mailing a check to the attention of Cindy Martin, Cherokee County Schools, 2230 Airport Road, Marble, NC 28905, or
by paying online at https://www.k12paymentcenter.com.

Fee Assistance:

Some familities may qualify for subsidized child care. To apply, please contact the Subsidy Caseworker Amber Moore by calling (828) 354-0482.

Meals:

Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack will be provided.
