Pre K/Kindergarten Registration

Cherokee County Schools will hold Pre K and Kindergarten Registration at all elementary schools on Friday, March 23, 2012, from 8:00 a. m. until 3:00 p.m.  To schedule a registration time for rising Pre K students, please call the school.   Kindergarten is a drop in registration.

Pre K

      All appointments must be scheduled before 3:00 p.m. on March 22.  There will be no walk-ins or late registration accepted on the 23^rd.

      Children must be 4 years old by August 31^st, 2012, to be eligible.

      The child’s immunization record, birth certificate, documentation of current physical examination, income verification for parents / guardians and proof of Cherokee County Residency are required for registration.

      All students must register at their Home District School.

      To be eligible, registration must be completed on March 23^rd, 2012.  Federal and state budgets have not been finalized for pre k funding.  Therefore, acceptance list will not be determined until school and class allotments are decided. 

Kindergarten

      Children must be 5 years old by August 31^st, 2012, to be eligible. 

      The child’s immunization record, birth certificate, documentation of current physical, and proof of Cherokee County Residency are required for registration.

      All students must register at their Home District School.

If any kindergarten parent has a conflict with this date, call the principal of the school to schedule a time to register the child.
